Exiting Windows 8 Menu After Using The Windows 8 Menu Shortcut From Start8 Restores Minimized Apps

If I open the standard Windows 8 Menu using the Windows 8 Menu shortcut in Start8, the Windows 8 menu opens fine.

But when I go up to the top left corner of the screen to go back to the Desktop, if I have an application minimized on the Taskbar it restores that application over the top of the Desktop. This bug has been evident for awhile now.
