So, after I gave up completely on Win8 on multiple displays and getting Start8 set up before feeling comfy, I realized that I missed some aspects of the Start Screen.

OK, to me, companies have been trying to cram sidebars and live desktops and gadgets and crap for 15 years. NONE of them stuck for most users. The Start Screen feels a little like that.

So working on my right monitor mostly, I thought that it would be very nice to have the Start Screen on my left monitor as the desktop (or between desktop and app when one is launched). So essentially, have the Start Screen there as a place to see news, mail, IMs, Facebook, etc. When a program (video, game, whatever) is launched, the Start Screen stays under it, essentially being like an active desktop.
