hi ive been recently been trying to solve a problem I've run into with sharing audio in-between systems.
Setup 2 pc's both running windows 7 64 bit
PC1 (primary) my main tower, it has 5.1 audio, and I want it to act as a speaker center for my pc's
pc2 (secondary) is a laptop "g75vw series" with fairly quite speakers. I use the mic jack as an audio input source
I have multiplicity pro or played edition
audio transfer from pc1 to pc2 however the mic jack input will not play on pc1 expect if i unmute the sound (last only about 1 sec before the software auto remutes my mic.) I currently have it set up via the mic jack and using hear playback of mic. (steaming audio via my smart phone)
so in short as I currently have the software setup it auto mutes my systems sound due to this. it blocks me from hearing the audio. if I set it up to where it dosent detect jacks. I can hear the sound on the local systems however I can not hear it on pc1. if I set it up the other way. I can hear all sounds but mic input on pc2. is there a way i can disable the automute of this software? and turn my system sound down to like 1% (so i dont hear it?) if i could do this it would let me trasfure the audio as i want. or is there a way to get it to where multipicity to pick up the audio imput from the mic? via settings in the system ect
any help would be appreciated. be it software config ect. posable software fix's/recommendations ect
note I have thought about using my pc1's mic input however I use this jack for com's in games. so at this time that is not an option.
