So I've started a Kingdom game with a custom Sov with the henchmen ability. Like the mechanic however I'm finding either theres a lot of arbituary rules upon editing them that I seem to be unaware of with no clues UI or otherwise on what exactly you can equip on them or not. Are you even supposed to be able to customise them like regular troop designs? As every time I try to once I've edited to my satisfaction and click save the designs just poof! All bar one that is and for the life in me I can't seem to figure out what made that one so special compared to other's I've tried to edit or create.
The design that stuck was a bard design. I edited its armour, equipment even its trait's, well I swapped out water disciple for acrobat. I did leave the name as Bard though.
I tried to do simular with torchbearer and shieldman,
Tried making torchbearer into a medic character, took off fire diciple, and added some strength so I could don some heavier equipment. plan was to level as a defender to take the army support type level ups. Changed the name to 'Medic' and poof.
Tried the same with shieldman. Left his traits as is, added equipment, armour and weapons. Planned him as a warrior type char taking path of the warrior at level up. Changed the name to something more fitting I think I named him 'General and once again poof! Nothing in the designs once I clicked finished.
So whats the deal? are they supposed to be designable? Does picking different traits? or certain combinations of armour make there designs void sometimes (if so needs to be some indication as to which ones you can't take together). Or is it something as simple as changing the name prefix void them?
Or is all this behaviour some form of bug?
