v0.8 Broken???

Seems like a lot of people are having issues with ability targetting filters....

There are accounts of scouts being unable to reveal mines, plasma storms allowing SC to be deployed, TK push not working, Repossession unable to target planets...the list goes on....

It would seem that v0.8 is fundamentally broken (and I'm not talking about the AI)...not sure how pervasive the problem is or if it is persistent for all players but without a hotfix soon I think a lot of time for real testing is going to be lost...

^ While this is true, it still does allow for graphical bugs to be found which there still are a handful of.

There are accounts of ... Repossession unable to target planets

Repossession was broken before v0.80, it got broke when the devs stopped it targeting planets with associated victory conditions:-

* Homeworlds for "Capital Vicrtory"

* Artifact planets for "Occupation Victory"

The bug is that every world seems to be considered an artifact planet, so Repossession is always blocked.

I miss that ability - marauding through the core systems of a hostile empire, assimilating the unenlightened at will, ahh those were the days!
