Found a bug while playing. I have two monitors hooked up to my computer. I play games on the one too the left and the windows desktop shows normally on the right. Now normally, when I play a game like Starcraft 2, I can put the game in full screen mode and the mouse will stay constrained to the one screen I'm gaming on. But in Sins, even in full screen mode the mouse will trail off the gaming screen onto the other screen, making it very annoying to look around in game. I have to disconnect my second monitor now everytime I want to play sins. This wasn't a problem in Dipolmacy. Can you guys please fix this in the next update?
I have this issue as well. I doesn't get in my way very often but when it does, it gets really annoying.
It happens to me everytime I launch the game with two screens connected. It's very inconvenient to disconnect a screen everytime I want to play this game
I'll ask the programmers about it.
I wasn't having this problem on 0.79 but now with the 0.80 patch I'm experimenting this as well, it doesn't matter if in the main menu or while playing in game, the mouse goes off the right edge to my other screen making it hard and annoying to move to the right (in my case).
Have the same issue in 2b .80
guys im not having this issue - i have a 42" plasa and a 24" samsung - i play on the 24" and watch movies / brose on the 42.
now that you mention it i did on my first install beta have a glitch where any time i left cliked on the sins screen it would also pause the movie o the big screen but that only happened one and did not happen again
I have this happen after I alt+tab out and then back in.
I agree. This issue appears to have started in beta 0.80. I never noticed it in .79 or other previous versions.
Glad to know it's not just me.
Just wanted to bump this up to let you know this bug is still present and still just as annoying lol
I'm on version .90
Wow allready made a post for this and no Dev said he would look into it lol, well at least someone is getting this the attention it deserves. God this bug pisses me off to no end.
There is no simple fix for this.
If you're running Windows 7, right click on the desktop and hit Screen Resolution, and disable your secondary monitor.
Easier than unplugging it.
Id love to see this problem fixed.
And even easier than disabling a screen, download Cursor Lock. Its free, its clean, its available on Cnet, and it works. Granted its not a permenant fix but its what I've been using for Total War from Empire right through the latest expansion. It takes all of 2 minutes to setup and get running. Saves having to disable monitors everytime.
I use Murgeemon myself but its not the same as having native curser locking, lags a bit.
bumping this up for more attention from devs. This bug annoys to no end.
I found out something interesting the other day in relation to this. I made a map with map designer and played it and while playing it mouse capture functioned.
Bumping once again, as this is still a thing in the final release
