So as plenty of people are aware, Armistice can be kind of annoying, dragging out combat in a system much longer than it would otherwise be.
As I've recently noticed in a match against an AI, 3 Akkans are capable of doing it indefinitely, and as incredibly frustrating as that is, that's a balance discussion for somewhere else, the "bug" I'm referring to here is simply how the AI chooses to deal with that particular situation.
And that would be by doing nothing. I was attacked by a fleet, destroyed everything except for those 3 Akkans, and the AI just parked them in orbit. It's been over an hour and they've just been sitting there, doing nothing and keeping the system in indefinite Armistice.
Normally I figure they would retreat, but with the presence of a phase jump inhibitor and whatever else factors into that decision, they've chosen that fighting to the death is the better option, except it can't happen.
So, really either the ability needs to be changed somewhat to prevent it being infinite with multiple ships, or at the very least the AI needs to recognize that particular situation and not idle in my system until the end of time.
