I'm loving the new expansion; I hope my friends will pick it up soon! I have encountered a few bugs so far. I won't list those that have already been mentioned, and I apologize if any below already have.
• As TEC Rebels, I happened to colonize a pirate base after an enemy AI bombed the pirate base with Novalith, while I had the Truce Amongst Rogues. All of the pirates were therefore intact. However, I would subsequently receive a never-ending barrage of pirate taunts every 20 seconds, as when they start raiding one of your colonies—along with the short musical bit.
• Maybe I didn't do something right, but in Occupation Victory mode, I wouldn't win the game after the timer reached 0:00.
• Titan ability sounds can be heard from very far (and they are LOUD!), whereas other sounds can be barely heard at all unless considerably zoomed-in.
• Titans often are stuck (blocked by other ships) when trying to move into formation, when grouped with other ships. Similarly, in a few occasions, I had titans stuck at extractor asteroids as well (as if they stubbornly wouldn't go around them). Easily fixed by manually ordering the titan around, though.
• Ankylon Titan would sometimes try to move away from a target when it was close, as if it wanted to attack it from afar.
• The Occupied World InfoCard does not wrap text for the Designate Capital Planet button (i.e. text goes on past the edge of the screen).
• The "Flagship" designation of capital ships appears to be missing.
• Not sure if this a bug or intended, but enemy fleets appear in my empire tree when I select their units that belong in them.
Nothing else comes to mind, I'll update this post when I come across more.
As for other feedback:
I Noticed that the Allied Victory setting has been reduced to a mere On/Off switch. In Trinity, we can choose the number of allied victors and I hope it will be that way in the final version of Rebellion as well. Sometimes I play games where we all begin allied, but with only two or three allied victors. Makes for some very interesting games! I'll be sad if this won't be possible in Rebellion.
I also think losing a titan should be more severe. I'm thinking they should lose a percentage of their current experience, or that the price of the new titan increases, proportional to its level—or both.
I can't wait to play with my beloved Vasari!
