[Bug] Spinning capital ship!

also disappearing titan

I was in the middle of a game as the advant loyalists on a random map, and during an assault of an enemy's planet my titan disappeared (if i selected it on the empire tree I would have a nice view of the skybox - with no idea where i was looking at). After I ordered a retreat of the fleet one of my capital ships went to the edge of the gravity well and started spinning and did not jump away - it was quickly destroyed

Was it a progenitor?  I've had that happen to that ship before loads of times...

ships (and titans) suck at jumping, this is a known, but so far ignored issue.

If I had to guess, it probably is related to the unique shape of the ship...it is really narrow and tall....

Did you order it to jump more than 1 gravity well? I've had ships climb completely vertical and try to skip a planet just spinning endlessly. I just told it to jump to the next well and suddenly it went straight and took off.

I have a save game where six enemy capital ships are spinning in their grav well.

The only way to get a fleet to jump with a spinning ship is to destroy that ship. My level 10 titan did that and to save my 12 caps i had to blow up the titan
