do you like titan firing visual effects?

Do you like these?

 

Personally I think they look way less realistic and a bit more childish than the original effects in Sins.

I think the Loyalist Titan's "defend the fleet" graphics are kind of lame

. A 2d graphic over a 3d object? They should be true bubbles.....

I'm fine with the loyalist weapon animations but the rebel is downright underwhelming, especially Snipe and the Rail gun

I haven't thought about the special attack effects much but their ordinary attacks looks ridiculous. Now and then I look at them for a while chuckling and thinking to myself " Did the captain have a birthday again with all the fireworks and are they celebrating it in the middle of a battle? ".

 

Honestly. It looks like they're having a wild new years eve party with lots of fireworks.

I think this is where the modding community should step up, not the developers. They should concentrate on getting the core mechanics instead such as engine or lag issues.

Although they should change the base animation  so that we can create more decent ones instead.

A lot of people wanted flashier graphics effects with mods such as Bailknights. I think they were only added because of pressure from them.

Personally overall I like them, especially the new on contact shield effects, but its a matter of personal taste and you can't make everyone happy with it.

Yeah I'm fine with the effects, and I too love the new shields, I just think that the size of the rail gun and snipe rounds should be increased, they look tiny compared to the size of the Rags main gun.
