Hence new designs with a more organic look to them
Still doesn't fit with the point I was making. And that was that the regardless of what design the ships are going with, the organic texture makes the ships look like they were constructed using an entirely different technological background
In other words, it's not unreasonable that the Vasari could suddenly sit back and say, "you know guys, I think from now on we should make our ships shaped like ducks'. Silly, yes, but within the confines of what is realistically possible. But that's not what we're talking about, this is a case
I didn't look closely at the textures of the Vasari, but I don't think they were too off. Vasari never seemed shiny to me in the first place.
I would suggest looking again. Especially with the likes of the Antorak or Skirantra. Some of the Vasari ships are some of the shiniest, most metallic looking examples of high tech construction in the game. Organic in design, but a far cry from appearing to have any biological elements in their construction.
This is beta. things can change from now until final release.
Which is why we're posting our opinions on them ... Not that I actually have much hopes for that. Plenty of things I'd expect to change, but would be surprised to see any major reworks to the appearance of any Titans.
