So far I'm really liking the game. I'm having a lot of fun with it. Here's what I've come across so far:
Quests that give you heroes give you hero looking non-hero units. Daxus and Haitan both do this, granting a unit that has hero skills but is unequippable and has no equipment and blows.
I was granted the 'kill the butchermen that killed my husband who is an axeman quest' and chose the flee option. I still got the quest complete dialog and the axe as a reward.
Sculla's mace (which is awesome, btw) shrink is a repeatable effect, letting you shrink things multiple times.
Units are occasionally classified as an incorrect strength. For example, fighting 4 scrap golems 3 of them will be weak and the 4th strong. I've also met a base 'bear' classified as strong when he's clearly not.
While my neighbor to the north expanded rapidly (Magnar II in this case) my eastern neighbor (Altar) has yet to expand beyond 1 city despite having lots of room to do so.
Also, I'll tack on a suggestion here: from an empire management perspective, I'll sometimes have cities that I don't want building anything. It becomes a pain to try to remember how many 'zzzs' are okay in the list and which ones they are. If cities had an option such as 'build commerce' even if it did nothing, it would be helpful.
