Needs a Boss

I know that sins isn't an rpg but i think they should add a boss ship just to make thinks a little more interesting. The boss would be at least a little stronger than titan class and able to hold its own against large fleets. The boss in question won't leave the planet its stationed at too attack players and fighting the boss is purely optional. But if you manage to win against it you'll get a few rewards well worth the hard fight, like a new research branch or something. I thought this up will playing tactics ogre one day so what do you guys think.

The devs have more than enough on their hands already it seems, but I'm sure you could do something like this very easily with a mod.

Dgray your confused my friend-each titan per race is the big boss. Your assuming you know how strong a titan class ship is going to be but in actual fact you don't and titans are suppose to be formidable and the mother-ship of each race. So your request for a big boss is already implemented.

that seems too Campaign -which is impossible.

Titans are stated to be able to clear out entire fleets, granted they haven't said how big a fleet it can take on and how badly the titan will be crippled after.

 

but if it can take on a vasari enlarged (8% isn't it?) fleet or an advent mass Domination fleet then it would be to strong

Boss battles in RTSes aren't all that fun.

At all.

Just go play DoWII and see what I mean.

The only real "boss" of a sort would be to fight Auqia and survive without feed.

And achieving that would certainly be more fun and rewarding than taking advantage of the stupid AI, regardless of whatever souped-up super ship it has.
