I ask this question, hoping to find a few way to make building my Kingdom a bit easier. For example, what keys do you press in order to take all your troups out of a settlement? Or to just take some troups out?
Plus, what other keys do you find helpful?
V to "vacate" a settlement, aka make all troops move out. That's definitely the most useful hotkey IMO.
Same hotkeys I use in Photoshop and Maya. Control-click to add or take away something from a selection.
I have TAB mapped to one of my mouse buttons, trough a nice little application known as X-Mouse button control
alt+f4 to play a better game.
For someone that doesn't like the game you spend a lot of time on the forum. why not go to a forum of a game you do like?
Because that would be the mature and non-moronic thing to do?
F5 or Q for Quicksave, but it hasn't been implemented yet.
I though that was clever and funny. +1
Thanks for the one reply I can actually use.
"5"
When the game decides I should be playing in 3d mode instead of cloth map, I hit "5" to zoom in (I like the angle better than "1") and zoom back out to cloth map. I have to use this every time I save, so I guess it's my Favorite.
Ctrl+S = Quicksave
Otherwise V to vacate the settlement is a wonderful button.
Ctrl+S quicksaves currently.
Shift+C on the strategic map to cycle through cities with empty building queues.
Same with TAB for troops.
Also, I'm psyched about the V command, I was always annoyed to click on all 12 units in my stack to get them out of the city.
I am not getting my troups out of the city by pressing the V key, do I need to click troups or another key with the V key??
