The crashes are very frustrating.
About 1 in 3 crashes, Windows reports as "Out of Memory" even though I am far from -- I have 4 GB of RAM, and after the first "Out Of Memory" error I started running Window's Task Manager in the background on the performance tab which charts memory usage over time, and though the memory usage was notable, it never exceeded more than about 2/3 of my 4 GB of RAM.
It does not seem to tax my graphics card heavily either, as my GPU never exceeds 65 degrees (it often gets around 80 running Starcraft II by comparison).
There are a lot of other glitches, including spelling errors. The description for Advanced Archery, for instance, describes "These ranged weapons are more powerful than their lesser counterparts and in the hands of capable archers are deadly compliments to any army." Firstly, there are at least two missing commas; secondly, I would like everyone in Stardock to grab a dictionary; look up the words compliment and complement.
I can just see it now: my archers lay down their bows and quivers, and start shouting "You guys look fabulous!" to the enemies, whom then drop dead from the compliments!
