Shirley,
thank you for this. Are you absolutely sure that the link your posted provides information on how to do what you said?
The 'send to' menu primarily used to start a program and pass what ever you clicked 'send to' on as a parameter. Yes, windows has a facility to include current desktop in the send to menu (it is included there by default), but there are two problems with this as applicable to the problem I posted in the original post:
1. It does not MOVE the shortcut, it creates a new one. The send to operation never deletes the original. Not what I want
2. There is no simple way of adding "send to" for a other user's desktop.
If you know how to "t set up shortcuts to your desktop and the public desktop respectively, and even other user's desktops" please do share. If you feel that I missed something when I read the link you posted, please don't hesitate to point out where this information that I missed is located related to the rest of the article.
I do understand if Fences development team doesn't feel like this feature belong to fences and I can accept this. However, could you please confirm that when you said "I doubt this will be a feature added to Fences.", you said this in official capacity as a Stardock representative and not just expressing your private opinion.
I once again thank you for the time you put into researching the subject of my concern and providing me with an answer. I would appreciate it greatly if you could get back to me on the points I posted above.
Thank you in advance,
Andrew
