Somewhat more seriously, I've (temporarily?) sworn off looking at video clips about politics so I have no idea what moment of discussion you're citing there because I can't read it. Even with that admitted ignorance, I'm still pretty confident in claiming that what you're reacting to is not a uniquely Southern problem, it is baggage spread across the entire nation that is just more painfully obvious when clumsy pols like McDonnell curry favor with outfits like the Sons of Confederate Veterans.

After all, the South might have a monopoly on sheer meanness, but racism and resisting the power of DC are traditions among different groups all across our half-melted nation. And that latter tradition isn't an entirely bad thing, at least on the non-violent side of the spreadsheet.

Nope, you are.  You stated on one of Draginol's blogs that you have never seen anything a Republican has done that you could support.  Lincoln was republican and he did end slavery.  So by extension, since you do not support the ending of slavery, you are a racist.  You said it, no one else did.

In addition, on another of Draginol's blogs, you clearly stated the problems of Detroit was due to racism (white flight).  You fled Detroit as well.  YOU SAID IT, not me.

Kind of hurts when your own words are used to prove you a liar and racist.

I never mentioned your parents, do not know your parents, have never communicated with your parents.  But given your propensity to lie, I would tend to believe them long before I would believe a racist liar like you.

The source is you. You never said you were forced to write those statements at gun point, and you do not appear ready to admit you are wrong now.  So we can only conclude you are a liar and a racist.

You're a bit off on the facts here; the US Constitution was ratified shortly before the first Europeans (the Danish) abandoned the slave trade. But I almost think it is more important to try to resist anachronistic thinking (projecting modern mindsets and values onto historical figures and events). Sub-Saharan Africans were at the bottom of a range of groups that the framers mostly considered unfit for participation in self-government. The early republic included indentured servants, a sort of 'voluntary' slave labor. Women were generally treated as the property of their fathers or husbands. White men who did not own sufficient property were not eligible to vote. But none of that made the elites who led our Revolution "dicks" any more than Alexander the Great's affection for sex with men made him "gay" or even "bi."
