You might want to be the person thinking about it. For most people, the previous decade was January 1 2000 to December 31 2009, which is ten years. Unless your decade started in 2001, you'd have an 11 year decade there...
that´s the same mistake there 
actually, our "modern" timeline started with the year one (not zero), which means after year one, one year has passed (obviously 
).
following that, after 10 years, one decade has passed, a century after 100 years, and a millenium after 1000 years.
and, of course, two millenia after 2000 years .. meaning, december 31st 2000.
anyway, back to topic.
i´d definitely have at least one of the battlefield series in there, too.
then, what about fallout 3? this game has brought soo many hours of extremely great gameplay atmoshpere to me.
