Interim build 2542 of Windows XP has been released to testers. This means RTM hasn`t been released yet, but we are still expecting it soon. Now 30 days are allowed before activation is required and a rumor is that new product keys are required for use by Beta Testers, however there is no way to confirm this. This build is also on the bug reporting menu at windowsbeta.microsoft.com.
