Well, ontop of all the other things that will result from Bush's reelection, we have this:
More than half of Bush's cabinet has or is expected to resign. Hes stuffing it with people that agree with him, we know this, and we also know that the fiasco over Iraq came from the people who agreed with him within the cabinet, and only the independent minded members had the balls or the desire to stand up to him. This spells trouble. Iraq was bad, whats next? War in the middle east possibly? I mean, I don't trust this fragile situation we have right now with Bush. Nor do I believe he will be able to take this monumental oppertunity and create peace there. On top of that, with everyone agreeing with his tactics, and no oposition, we have TROUBLE. Disent is good. It always has been. We are in for some rough times: A Bush "yes" cabinet, a republican congress, senate and possible supreme court means that we will have no dissent.
The cabinet members to resign so far inlude:
Homeland Defense
State
Agricultrue
I don't remember the others, but I just read there are 7 so far, with an expected at least 1 more to come. Add on top of this mass CIA resignations, along with UN Ambasador John Danforth.
On another resignation note... who expects Cheney to resign soon? Health reason maybe? I mean the GOP can't seriosuly keep him VP.. he can't run for president, so shoudln't they fill it with a candidate?
