SB reconfig

Why does the SB upgrades have to be final?  Sometimes I upgrade and decide this SB is no longer the front line and would be nice for a trade post and forward construction bay. Perhaps i designated my home planet there but already used up my points?  Is there a furture of scuttling upgrades to regain the chance to upgrade something else?

I actually had this problem last night, while I was compstomping and doing laundry. i worked around it though. However, I dont think it would be a good idea, considering you cant do the same for planets.

the original intention of the starbase is that it was specialized, either used for tradig, defense, offense, ect.  I believe in ads for entrenchment that they even said you had to plan ahead for your decisions.

thats exactly why when i place four SBs at my star or the AI's Star atleast one of those has 1 Weapon upgrade/3 hull upgrades/ Docking Boons and Trade port this way even on the front line Im drawing in income.

yeah.......planets can be fully upgraded on everything available for a planet........also why would you want to take back upgrades to a planet.

agreed. planets and caps can be fully upgraded, SB's cant

usually, if i need to change the specialty of a SB... i can usually afford to buy a new SB and upgrade, so i just scuttle and start again...
