Alex and I have agreed that plastic surgery is completely unnecessary. Why would someone go to the very depths to change their appearance for the sake of society?
There are a few exceptions that we concluded. If a woman has extremely huge breasts… then a breast reduction would be necessary for her future heath, especially for her back. Or if someone was in a car wreck and his or her face was distorted because of it… then, for the reassurance of returning of a normal life, plastic surgery is an option. But for someone who has a bigger nose than most people wants it smaller… then that is not necessary. She (or he) should be happy with the way they look, and having a big nose is not all the drama it’s made out to be. It is not a health hazard… it’s not a discomfort… the person only wants to change it because they think they look ugly. There is no one who is truly “ugly”... every one is beautiful. Everyone is different, and people should get over this fetish with trying to look like a blonde, super skinny, super model.
With the big noses… Most Iranians and Arabics have larger noses than most of us, and there isn’t a problem with that at all. Most Middle-East women are very beautiful and Middle-East men are attractive, and their noses are what is part of that.
I wish people would get over the unrealistic goal to look perfect… having plastic surgery supposedly will “increase self-confidence” right? Well… if you’re not happy with yourself, then you will never be really happy with yourself…. No matter what you do. You will then feel like you are not you… you are part silicon, or part of you is missing.
And what would happen if you get a boob job and it turns out worse than your original breasts? Would THAT increase your confidence?
Be happy with who you are…
