Interface question..

Greetings!  Getting back into SOSE after a LONG break.

Just reinstalled the game.

1. how do i remove the shaded box on left side of screen showing the fleets?  Just want to make the background clear, not shaded.

2.  how do i turn off the camera auto follow feature on ships i selected?

1. Go to your options menu under User Interface, and turn off "Empire Tree: Show Background"

2. This might require a little more teweaking. Go to your place where you keep your mods, go one folder up, there should be a folder call settings. Click into it, open the file call camera. Open with notepad or something like it. and search for zoomToCursorLocksOnMovingEntities TRUE and set the TRUE to FALSE

Hmm, i dont have any mods installed so i cant use that as a baseline for finding it.  What is the string path?
