Yes the second expansion will also have some MP goodies tucked away in it.... or there will be HELL TO PAY!

Diplomacy is fun! I can't wait.  

Locked teams definitely makes things easier, but I like the depth added to the game with diplomacy, especially on multiplayer, when the others cannot be trusted as much as the AI.

its ok raging amish. i believe i worded that badly. i meant that obviously it was taking much longer than they said it would. when they first announced it, i guessed that the diplomacy xpansion would include a campaign, mostly because i couldnt think of anything else they could put it.

i refuse to believe that they are abandoning us. if they were just in it for the money, they wouldnt have done what they did with DRM and copy protection. they know that they are one or two balance patches away from making the game near-perfect again (assuming they still read the forums). i'm optimistic about this. considering its been two months since we've heard anything from the developers, i'm hoping we see something soon

Speaking about no clue, no one really has any clue about the second one either. All we know is its called Diplomacy (maybe) and its about the diplomatic and maybe economic sides of the game.

But more than that... no one knows.... and alot of people are getting sick and tired of being kept in the dark about it!

Diplomacy is the 2nd expansion  and if we belive some of the more populer sugestions the Pirates should be gettign a rehaul their should also be spying and sabotage tools. For single player their should be new tools that allow you to accept or decline missions from AI as well as give them missions. And lots of other stuff. But we realy don't know. Ironclad has been dead quite on it.

As for the 3rd expansion no one knows. How ever I hope it rihmes with Escalation were SUB-CAPITAL ships are introduced and were their is a new research tree added that improves only Capital and Sub-Capital. Their can be a few goddies for reguler ships however I don't see what much more could be added.

So why not come back and give your opinions? I do agree that some of the designs arent exactly Sins congruent... but then neither were some of the new entrenchment ships until people got used to them.

well, thanks anyway, your comment made me realise how right you are and ive started to try to think like an advent or vasari... not easy, the Advent have NO sense of aesthetics...

no, im not... i think they are generally ugly or just confusing to the point of being an eyesore.

its completely my own preference, i just prefer things to be a certain way, and Advent dont accomplish that.

Some of their ships are very nice. The Disciple, The Illum, The Destra, The Tallion, The Radiance and the Rapture, all very nice

then some are just butt ugly: the Aeria, the Defense Vessel, the Progenitor (to a degree), the Revelation, or Hot Chilli Pepper (As i like to call it), the Domina (to a degree), the assembly drone, their fighters and bombers (to a degree) and their structures generally... some less than others

urgh... its really one of the reasons i dont play them, i just cant stand to look at my own ships...
