Was just wondering if modding tools are going to be included like in the political machine, or are going to have to be fan-developed like with Galciv1

There will be a lot more tools this time around because unlike in GalCiv 1 where it was done all in code, this time we'll be using in house tools that we plan to release out at some point.

I might need to install the extras.  But I believe that there are other free tools out there.

Currently most of our textures are in .png format, but we may convert them all to being a type of .dds file, which is why I said that you might need DXTex.
