It's not that her minions are inherently weaker. As stated somewhere in the thread, one-for-one, yetis are actually the best
Yetis AREN'T amazing...alone. Try to get the minion skill up, and get the 24 hp/sec regen aura early on. I totally ignore pounce; it's unneeded. The problem is that yetis are mana-intensive and don't work too well as a "Side-skill". If you go for yetis, you need to dedicate yourself to a more minion-focused build...as opposed to a healbot with pounce.
I couldn't pinpoint the exact build I use...but I put my first point into yetis, second into healing, and from there I get the health regen aura, improve the minion skill, and other skills depend on the situation. At some point I'll get 4 yetis (third yeti skill).
My first cash is spent on getting monks. They go along with my first 2 yetis to heal them up. From there I get some good mana gear, maybe a potion or two, and the other minions (minotaurs and ranged)..upgrading all the minions over time.
What you end up with is a large minion force that's constantly being healed by the buffed priests that Sedna has + your own aura. With some decent mana gear, she can coninually replace losses. This build isn't good at chasing down and killing demigods (but then again, sedna herself isn't). However, the minion army is nigh unbreakable. In my experience, their only hope is to somehow get past the minions and kill Sedna, as a direct fight (even with AOE) tends to fail.
