I've posted this before, but here it is again.
First 2 games I played I had my windows firewall on, my pc firewalled behind my router, and the matchmaking was quick and easy, no failed attempts. This was thursday at around 2pm.
After around 4PM on thursday I started to constantly get "You have been disconnected from the NAT Facilitator" prompt. After watching the connection info for a few times of this I noticed it says this when I fail to connect to someone. This would be ok if it was 1 other person, but I get ejected because I didn't connect to 1 guy even though I connected to 3 others? Ok...
When I do get into games, there is usually 1-2 players per side with 1-3 bots per side. About 1/2 the time I hear the "a player has been disconnected".
The Connection Info Dialogue always has between 2-6 players without any connection info, they are just names on a blank tab. I couldn't get screenshots and I have the logs and stuff but they are too long to post them all and I don't know what is relevant. From what I could tell, NAT negotiations just don't like some people...
Edit: Here's a step-by-step of what happens most of my games.
Finding players - connecting to players - there are 6 names, 3 without connection info, and the other 3 are players who are connecting to eachother - someone fails to connect to me or another person so they are booted - there are 5 players left, me and the other player are connected to eachother - game sits there indefinately (atleast 5 minutes) before I leave and try again. This happens a lot, like 80% of my games. I have tried with windows firewall off, my PC DMZ'd out of my routers firewall, with ports 6000-6200 forwarded to my pc and every combination of those on/off. Nothing seems to help fix the problem of hit or miss. My setup obviously works or I wouldn't be able to play at all, and it has worked with all my firewalls and no ports forwarded and it has worked with everything I can do, done.
WHY does it take an AS in networking to play this game? WHY is it so hit or miss to play this game? WHY did you guys not see these problems in your beta?
