It's a decent ability, but nothing special.  Other upgrades, such as guardians with repulsion, take priority over this one.  It's definitely worth picking up when you have the time, but it's usually not a game-changing ability.

Total garbage for MP as only a fool can't tell the fakes from the real thing.  I guess theyc an eat side bank damage from thigns liek cap ships, flak, and other illumiantors.  Since you can't really cotnrol what otehr banks shoot at.

That's the primary use of the ability, of course.  As I said, nothing special, but certainly worth your time.  I also like the concept of using it as mine removal.
