good luck!!!!
Who in their right mind is going to want to move there right now?
My husband (the analytical genuis) still has a spreadsheet with all the houses that were for sale along with ours for months. Last night he told me the same houses are still there along with a whole bunch more. Right now I think he said there are like 120 houses for sale in our old hometown. How in the world did we manage to sell ours?
Must be God.
One of the houses we noticed still for sale was a house that went on the market for $299K. Our Realtor in an effort to get us to come down last summer because we were in that ballpark hinted that they had a very very nice house and that it would be snatched up quickly. Her point was that we, she thought, were too high. But we had land. Lots of it. They did not. They had more house but no land and no garage like we did.
Our house sold and this other house is still on the market with the price still, months and months later not reduced. I felt a bit vindicated when I heard that after her giving us a bit of the business last summer.
Now when I hear about the falling snow and temps I am so glad we sold the house! What a burden unleashed.
