I hope this is the right forum, did something change? Wasn't there one for the Impulse app exclusively?

Here's my problem: I manually moved my Sins of a Solar Empire folder (fresh, one day old install) to another partition. Then I told Impulse to install the game into this new location, expecting it to verifiy that all the files where still there and mark it as installed in the My Games tab. But it started to download the whole install package again! Same problem, when I move the game back to the original folder! In some earlier version of Impulse (around October 2008) this didn't happen.

Either the current Impulse version 3.11.500 was building a wrong filelist (maybe based on the "wrong" date and time of the files in the new folder; of course they have another timestamp than the ones Impulse wants to download) or it didn't actually check the folder I specified.

Even if some files where changed (e.g. deleted map file) shouldn't Impulse just re-download these files? Any ideas what might be the problem?

Anyway, Impulse needs the ability to either move a game/app folder to a new location, or recognize if this is done manually!

I'm sorry to say, that the longer I use Impulse, the more annoying it gets. A few month back I couldn't understand why so many people complained, but now I see their point.
