Strange behaviour after update

what to do

After I've updated my Deskscapes I can't use the animated wallpapers anymore....

The only thing I get is the message that some files can not be found.

Windows Vista 32-Bit
DreamControl.dll   (File not found)
DesktopControlPanel.dll  (File not found)
WallpaperPage.dll   (File not found)
DreamTasks.exe   14-10-2008 8:55:08       v2.00 (#106)
DreamSwitcher.exe   14-10-2008 8:55:08       v2.00 (#106)

besides that I get some empty error screens.

 

Anyone who knows what to do?
Please help!

Because it's the holiday, not many folks are around and I'm not sure Stardock has any tech support working on the holiday.

I'd definitely fill out a ticket at tech support: support@stardock.com

I wish I knew enough to help you, lod__2005.

Maybe you can find a Moderator online.

I think Lantec is around.

I'd suggest you uninstall > reboot > disable Windows Defender & any 3rd party anti-virus/firewall programs > reinstall > reboot

I've found Windows Defender to be at fault with problem Impulse updates for myself.

There is a bug in Impulse and locked files and you seem to have been hit by it.

Uninstall, reboot and reinstall and you should be ok.
