Isn't Spore supposed to suck?  Or rather it didn't turn out like it was promised to.

I dunno. I thought it was slated for DS too, Ock, but the Wikipedia page doesn't say anything. I could've checked more, I guess. I wonder if they'd make it for the PSP also, but that's probably just wishful thinking.

I've been curious about it. Maybe I'll pick it up when the price drops, but not right now, either way, since I'm strapped for cash.

I've never really expected that much of Spore, and Yahtzee's review (Zero Punctuation) totally decimated it, so I'm planning on waiting to buy it.

Buying a game because of the developer's politics is aligned with you is not a good way to go about things. If Brad Wardell was a democrat, would you not buy his games? I think he's a Republican, but I'm not sure.

I'd say both heh. Once you get over the creators, you realise the actual game part of it is very lacking.
