A lot. I normally have 3 to 4 tabs up. Saves me from using the back arrow in many cases. I use the right-click "Open Link in New Tab" to check things out without loosing the page I'm at. A good example is a Google Search. I just keep opening new Tabs until I find the best one for what I'm after, all the time keeping the original search list available. FF3

I've been using tabs since I first started using Firefox...back when Version  was newly released. I've usually got 3 tabs open at the same time after opening my browser, one for Gmail, one for a few tech blogs I read and one for WC 

Occasionally it so happens that I want to read two BUMPED forum posts at the same time, so I middle-click on one of them to open it in a new tab while the other opens in the same tab....really, a lot like Zu's post.

It's useful because it saves taskbar space. I don't want my taskbar to have three FF windows open

And not counting Google Chrome, using tabs can sometimes cause trouble. For example, if Firefox crashes with 3 tabs open, I lose all three tabs. But if it's three windows open, I lost the window that crashes. [Though with the session restore feature it doesn't matter anymore]

Are you kidding?  Tabs are the best!  As many sites as you can open, under one window is the reason to use it!

I've used nothing but IE since its invention back in '92 and I watched it evolve into what it is today!

I hear nothing but complaints about IE, but it's weird that all other so-called competitors have come and gone.

IE8 is in beta and I'll be right there once it launches.

I usually have photoshop, sks, chatzilla and ff open at the same time. I need to have my browser tabbed ( I have at least 5 tabs open at once) cause I hate it when the taskbar starts grouping my tasks!

I use tabs in Windows Explorer. Tabs are just more efficient.

I use 'em.  I have 5 set up when I open IE.  Email, WC, DA, MaxStyles and Skinartistry.  So much nicer to switch back and forth.

I use em' like crazy as well. Especially like Zubaz said, while other pages are loading i can read news, look at por....   i mean look at WC,DA, and customize.org  amongst others.

Well, I thrive on them. I really think they are more efficient and productive, also creates a lot less clutter on my taskbar. They took me a little time to get used to but once you go tabs you never go back!!

With all the Stardock stuff I run on the desktop keeping it clean, using the tabs function just seems to make sense.

I don't think I could live Browse without Tabs or Mouse Gestures. 

And yet....Firefox still has more users.

I don't know if it uses any code now, which is crappy, because I have to write text, highlight it (which copies it with my autocopy plugin, overwriting the url I already had copied in my clipboard), then click the link thing, REcopy the url, put it in, insert, blah blah blah...would be easier to click in 'insert link' it asks for a url, then asks for a name for the link, then wham bam inserts it all named and everything.
