The fact that after 10 years the TEC can somehow push to a stalemate both the Vasari and Advent. You would think the Vasari would be able to steamroll the TEC with their vastly superior ships and technology, and the Advent had a thousand years to design and prepare for their revenge. Yet somehow they get ground to a halt after one decade?

As I remember it, the TEC were throwing everything at the Vasari, and were finally getting some hope when the Advent arrived. Then they had a crisis with all their stuff tied up with the Advent running around unopposed.

Would it not make sense for Starships to jump in and out of a solar system from the sun's northern or southern pole? Not only do ships have to skip flying around an entire sun just to face the right direction, but it also would be practical irl in order to avoid bumping into planets. Just my two cents...

Given true Newtonian physics and how useless warships in space would be because of it, the entire concept of Sins' warfare is in itself implausible. Once a spaceship starts moving, it can't really maneuver until it can slow itself - at which point it would be drilled into oblivion by it's attackers. It's sort of like trying to run on ice in tennis shoes. That aside, though, I still have enjoyed the demo enough that I'm looking to buy it after I cash my paycheck tomorrow. I think a game with what would be the more realistic and plausible version of space warfare would get rather boring, that being more of a Cold War Era-esque game of ballistic missile ping-pong.

Space, in reality, is rather boring if you don't like looking at the scenery or researching phenomena. For the sake of an enjoyable sci-fi space title, the unrealistic doesn't bother me. Besides, I spent far too much on 5.1 speakers to ever play a modern game that was sans sound.

Of course you realize that we humans do not understand all that the universe has to offer. And several scientific theories over the years have been either proven wrong or at least not to be the only factor in the grand scheme of things.

So, with that in mind... who knows what scientific discoveries will be made in the future that will allow space ships to move more freely in outer space.
