Turning OFF auto-saving

It doesn't really matter why I want this, I just do! how the hell do I turn it off?

Also, any ideas on how to reduce the stress on the PC when playing this? A friend and I is trying to play together, with my high end PC, and a laptop. Lets just say the Laptop doens't to very well after an hour or so.

Change IsAutoSaveOn TRUE to FALSE in the user.setting file:

Vista:
C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting

XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting

Please note that some of these directories are hidden by default. To unhide them, go to Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View and set yourself to view hidden files and folders.
