I have had some problems with Windowblinds 6.1. I had uninstalled it about a month ago. Have tried many times over the last couple of days to uninstall/reinstall it. Each time trying different things like disabling AVG Free 8.0 and through msconfig I have even tried unchecking everything to start windows with a minimum of other programs.
What happens is I install windowblinds from Impulse or SDC it asks me to reboot….I do….then when restarted I go into WB and try to choose the WB Theme Diamond by Stardock I love this theme!!! I either double click on Diamond or hit apply and either the WB window goes away or it starts its thingy and finishes with only the windows classic theme……I keep trying and finally get WBs to load Diamond but then all the windows I try to open are messed up….IE, outlook anything…..the top bar with the maximize/minimize and close buttons are completely gone. I can’t even drag a non full screen window around the screen.
Please help. I have Vista home premium with SP1 installed, all my drivers are up-to-date, and my system is very clean.

I think I may found a solution...at least on my PC....here goes ( from my last email to SD support):
I think I may have solved my problem. The way I got WB to work with AVG 8.0 Free edition is to go to the “resident shield” and add the file locations for all Stardock products to the exception list…….
-----C:\Users\username\Documents\Stardock, C:\Users\Public\Documents, C:\Program Files\Stardock ----

My system:
Pentium D 3.2, 2ghz ddr2 ram, Nvidia 8600gt Video, sound blaster live audigy 2 zs platinum, Vista home premium w sp1, hauppauge 250 tuner, sata 3 HDs, all fed to a Vizio 42" LCD...all sound through pioneer 6.1 digital sound system in my living room.....I will never need an office again.
