I hear tell that TA is buggy, unplayable shit right now - not entirely surprising or unforgivable, since it's brand new and ironing out all the bugs in something with as much content as a 4X game on the first try is just impossible. So what I want to do is buy the full pack, install DL + DA, wait for a TA patch that fixes the major problems in introduces, then install that. Can it be done?

I'd rather not resort to buying Gold and then buying TA separately once a good patch comes out, because that costs more, and it would leave a sour taste in my mouth to go "well you released a buggy expansion, so here's some extra money from me that you wouldn't have gotten if TA had been playable right out of the box."
