Fixed bug deallocating particle pool memory.


So does this mean I can play as the Vasari again? With out the effects disappearing?

Will this fix the mini dump errors and the memory dump errors ??? i so hope so
me and my mate play this over the lan. We can never finish a game and was ready to destroy the cd.
So hope this will fix , fingers crossed

I think the minidump issues are being addressed in 1.1, as they probably would have mentioned it in the notes otherwise.

Could you please do something about the Hard AIs all teaming against you in unlocked FFAs though? It's impossible to play with more than 2 AIs on smaller maps as the game will quickly degenerate into a 3v1. I don't care if they favour attacking the 'strongest player', but they shouldn't ally with each other. You simply can't fight off 2+ allied fleets attacking you at the same time 5 minutes into the game.

They did fix the cargo ship minidump that has been pissing me off for the last month.
and for the poster above that is why you try to please 1 or 2 of the other AIs while you smoke the 3rd. Then turn on the other ones.

Will you provide the files to the modders a few days beforehand so that we can get the mods ready? That was very useful last time. Also, please include a list of what files were changed so that we know which files we need to focus on.

mini dump = crash log
so yes depends on what crashes you got.

A notification of a few days of delay on the 19th would lead most to believe that it would not be available on the 20th. It was not a couple of days, so the 21st is probably not likely either. The 22nd would be the earliest reasonable expectation to achieve the "few" days goal.

Didn't they already tell us what will be part of 1.05 and hints about 1.1?

New default texture quality settings set.


Is that the set up before the high res textures in 1.1 (or what ever graphic enhancement it is)? Like primer on a wall

So 1.05 is delayed ok . Would u please do me a favour and fix the mini dump errors , i luv this game but can never finish one if u need more info about this error i can provide it. Please look into it as i think many other ppl are having problems. Oh and by the way the 2 pc's we are playing on r top line gaming comps so its not specs. Would be very appreciated if u could even just reply if its not Thanx

Those fixes are nice especially the info card problem. There's a couple issues i think are more pressing though.

1.) Removing the limitations on how many variances of ships you have for capital ships and frigates etc.
2.) A sperate section for Neutral Colonies and a possible way to allie with them.
3.) A New option screen that would allow you to trade ships and planets with allies.
4.) An option to stop the enemy from quiting the game.
5.) A command code for area effects, for any potiential super weapon mods.

I don't like the AI on the pirates...the one who puts the most bounty on an enemy's head should be able to tell the pirates which strategic location to attack. Just like the CPU when they give targets to the players for an award. Also we can't tell the cpu which location to attack for an award. It makes the CPU look like it is only there for an easy win. Thats just my opinion, if any one can back me up on this one with me.

Awesome, another update. You guys rock! I don't know how many games I've played the past 20 or so years that didn't have 5 updates the whole product life, never mind in just several months. This is why I plunk down the dineros for your products (also doesn't hurt that they're fun to play!).

Reeaalllyyy looking forward to seeing what 1.1 has.
