do you ever played superpower2 ?

an complex diplomacy strategygame, with a nice serveroption.

U can start an dedicaded server on your pc beside your clientgame. so when the client crashes the server there will be still alive.

but the most important feature was, that u can join or leave a game whenever you want. f.e. You play an advent race. after while you have to go for 20 mins for privat reasons. As soon as u leave the ai will overtake your place, but u or any other player can join the game later and take your, or any other ai-played position.

So u can play very long games without be worry about leaving players as u can get new players in the game.
In Superpower all human players can leave the server but the game would not stop. The AI will just overtake all players as long no Human player joins.

That would be a very nice addon for the game.
