QUIXTAR RECEIVES THREE GOLDEN REEL AWARDSFOR EXCELLENCE IN VIDEO PRODUCTION

ADA, Mich., Sept. 22, 2004 –E-tailer Quixtar has been recognized for excellence in communications by the Media Communications Association-International (MCA-I) with three Gold “Golden Reel” Awards for the videos “Quixtar Business Incentives – There is something for everyone,” “New Rules,” and “All By Yourself.”
Since 1978, Golden Reel honors have recognized creativity and advancement in technical applications. All Golden Reel entries are reviewed by a Blue Ribbon Panel which confers outstanding projects with Gold, Silver or Bronze Golden Reels. Quixtar won three of the four Gold Golden Reels awarded in the “Sales and Marketing” category, which were among only 36 Gold awards issued in the international competition. Quixtar developed the videos with Crossfire Productions.

To be considered for a Golden Reel Award, entries must first receive top honors at the local and then regional levels. Entries are evaluated on effective use of the medium, creativity, production values and technical quality in three areas: message design, creative elements, and production elements.
