Most of Stardock programs are geared for downloading online. Granted not everyone can or wants to download online, usually because of having a slow internet connection service like dial up.

Once you install Object Desktop and you sign on documentation is available through Stardock Central (SDC). Most if not all of the customization programs are really easy to understand. If you plan to do skinning then I would check out the WinCustomize Wiki. In fact it's a great place to start in just finding out what each program will/can do with some helpfull tutortials. Also one of the the reasons that Stardock is geared to online downloading of programs is to keep the cost relatively inexpensive to it's customers.
