All in all, not nearly as bad as I had readied myself for.
I don't think half of my graduating class, which was small to begin with, showed up. I know some of them couldn't make it, but I expect many were just too apprehensive. Some of the missing I was really hoping to see, but others I admit relief at not having to face. I got to talk to some people that I barely knew in High School. And the people that I always avoided because I had labeled them as snobby had either been mislabeled or have really chilled out.
Everyone seemed to have a really nice time. I think we've all grown up. Some are starting their families. Others started early, and are doing really well. But I think the late 20s is probably a great age. We're all adults, but still a little immature. It's great to see everyone still just getting started, but it's still acceptable that so many of us still don't know what we want to be when grown up, or aren't quite where we want to be. We have time yet.
