If you are using Outlook (or outlook express), go to Tools/Options. At the bottom of that box is the internet headers. Part of that is going to be an IP address where the mesage originated (they can get around that too, but if they do not think about it, that is their address). Just cross reference that with the IANA database, and you will have the ISP. And probably their real location.

WHOA!  That rocks.  I will keep that in mind FROM NOW ON!

Where the ISP is will not give you a good indication of where the person is physically at. Their IP will tell you, though

It's mildly disturbing, yes. However, Ceasar-the-Rottweiler, Frankie-the-Red-Dog-from-Hell, and my good friends Smith and Wesson tell me not to fret, so I won't.

He seems a nice guy in email.  Maybe he was just having a bad night?

That is spoofed. Any 10.x.x.x (or 172.16.x.x-172.31.x.x, and 192.168.x.x) are private IPs and cannot be routed on the Internet. So, yea they seem to be covering their tracks.
