This only goes to show you that, yes, as the human race gets older, originality will continue to approach zero. Eventually, our great x 10^10 grand children will live in a world where no one will ever have an original thought, see an original television program, or be to an original place that hasn't been thought, seen, or been to before. Scary thought, eh?
A thought is original if it is new to you and formulated by you. It's previous forumlation by another individual is meaningless.
So sure, eventually given an infinite period of time, all thoughts will be forumalted, but as mankinds mind is not infinite, there will always be a sense of originality, I wouldn't start worrying for that reason.
Realistically thoughts aren't new in anycase, they're mearly recognition of how something works (ie physicality being observed and paired together with another part of physicality).
An image on your computer is composed of pixels made up of 3 hues controlled by 256 layers of darkness each. So in a sense there are only a limited number of images possible.
But I still don't find myself getting bored.
