hi guys,has been play this game for about a week now,and feel this game lack more differences between the three races as well more underground competitions,so here is what i think:
boarding party: a "boarding health bar"should do the trick,when a ship's "boarding health bar" ever reach zero,it been captured,also apply to the ships who board others.
pirates: they are pirates and all for the money,how about they will try to capture valuable ships(such as capital ships) and put them on blackmarket for players to bid?
empire points: well,when a empire keep expanding but fleet cap stay the same then it will has problem even defending itself...so my thought:500 population for 1 point, 1 fleetsupplycenter(2 points 250fleet cap),1 megacapship(2 points dont use fleet cap) and maybe a building that increase cap crews,those structure should be expensive and need upkeep,so players will always research the normal tech first.
megacapitalship: 5 times the cost of a cap and should be more cost-ineffective
TEC:a mobile fortress can build small ships and funtion like a commandcenter(hit chance,damage etc...)
Advent:spread culture everywhere(dont forget shield mitigation),nasty psi buff and big hanger.
Vasari:a phase stabilizer that can move,also can instill fear upon the enemy and damp thier culture.
more unique smallships,some example:
TEC:towingship(refitted of course):smash into enemy ships then use plasma blade slice them to pieces.can selfdestruct if reserched.
Advent:puppet master:cruiser class ship,can take control over multiple enemy at the same time,consume antimatter though.
Vasari:mobility is the key(me think
),an expensive siege vessel that can phase to anywhere to sneak attack
easy targets.
ability to raise militia(cant phasejump): player can raise more "stages"(same as infrastructure) of militia depend on population of the planet,and need upkeep(so no turtle),for emergency situations only.
moons around the planet:though most moons are just small astroids,a moon has the quaility of the lunar would be very rare,but provide both big tatical and logistic adventages(even can be colonized).
and another unique new race for the exp.....for the start
and dark armada:this tech really need balanced.
just some of my thoughts...(maybe for the upcoming exp?
