Just like in the US today I can buy an american made smith and wessen, an israeli desert eagle, a russian AK47 (well I could if machine guns were legal here ).

Foods could also be a good possibility. Different planets offer different climates for different foods to grow. Not to mention the local government might have restrictions on exporting livestock or whatever to prevent loss of revenue. (you can export Xxzort steaks, but not live Xxzorts which can be used to start herds on other planets... cause thats loss of revenue for planet momlambo)

I would think of orbital refineries as collecting the normal waste material from the mines and re-processing it to extract what the mine was unable to.

They are legal here all you have to do is get a permit for them. They cost around $400 then you have to buy them that are around $7G's and up.


Well in patch 1.3 I hope they add something to the info you get when holding over different things like trade ships, and refineries etc. Exp: A trade ship would say how much it is hauling and what you were getting from it each time it delivered. I think I'll post this in the patch 1.3 thread as well.

Not "friggin complicated" just details that need to be included in a game like this. IMO it was released unfinished and not having more detail the Beta testers did nothing to tell the company about it to fix it. IMO this is nothing more then Space Total War another RTS without the 4X game play. If they finish the game now that it’s out it may become great. However, this is a game for the younger generation with less detail and scope so as not to overheat the brain matter. For us dinosaurs of 4X gaming this is too simple. It looks great with GFX but simple.
