The Eclipse Has Started

I was concernedd that it was going to be too cloudy to see the lunar eclipse tonight but Mother Nature was kind and the clouds cleared out just in time for the start of the show. I stood and watched it start and will walk back out shortly to see it when it reaches full eclipse. I love a good show!

Bummer. I am currently watching it's progress out the window but will walk out when it nears full eclipse. Too bad about the clouds, it should be a great show. I just wish I had my old telescope so I ccould check out Saturn's rings during the eclipse.

The eclipse was so cool.  I tried to take pics, but it was hard.  The temp here in Manitoba Canada was about -30 something (degrees celsius) ugly and I kept standing on my front deck trying to get a pic but my hands, hell my whole body, were shaking, and i just couldn't get pics to my liking.  It was awesome though.
