HELP! Download issues

I bought the digital download about 2 days ago, but I am at school, and the schools network won't let me run stardock central to download the game. Is there any way of running the installer withusing stardock central?

PLEASE SAY THERE IS, cause I won't get home for another 5 weeks.

Sorry but no, SDC is the only means of obtaining the digital download. So long as you can install software though, I don't see why it shouldn't work. SDC uses port 80 AFAIK, same as normal http traffic.

After altering various settings, I have managed to get SDC central to download, but it keeps restarting. It gets to about 54%, and the drops all the way back to 0%. WTF!

If you're running Windows XP, try installing it in Safe Mode. It sounds wierd but it seems to do the trick when people run into this strange problem.

I have had the same problem since last night. I had to uninstall after a mod mistake and can't get it to re-download. It stops from 40-60% EVERY TIME. It's getting very irritating. The first time I downloaded it last month I had no problems. Vista Ult x32. - Update. After the 100th try or so it finally made it all the way to 100% and installed. I didn't change a thing...
