Virginity has to be the most lightly taken subject in the whole world! People use it as many times as they go to the flipping bathroom! People think that it isn’t special and that you don’t have to wait until marriage, but I think you should.
Your virginity (this is all in my opinion), is having the most intimate act with someone that you care about more than the world. And, you don’t know you love someone that much until you know that you want to marry them, and spend the rest of forever with them. So that is my reason I think it should wait until after marriage.
Loosing your virginity is supposed to be more than just a “physical act” during sex, it is suppose to be an emotional scene where you are giving your greatest gift to someone you love.
How can anyone say, “It doesn’t matter if you’re married or not.”? How can you have sex, and not TRULY mean it?… That, is a big question.
I am going to be a virgin until I am married. And I was a little weary of my decision a few months ago and I almost gave into pressure, but now that I know my closest friends AND boyfriend think the same thing about virginity, and I can’t be more happier. Because with my friends, I don’t feel pressured to do anything… I can be myself. And I know they will all respect my decision, just as much as I respect theirs. And THAT is also another sign of good friends, that I never ever want to lose! : D
