I am going to play politics. I am going to "make my case" to america... and next to it I will explain the true meaning of the statement
Abortions should be availalbe to everyone under certain circumstances > Abortions should remain legal as they are today, the right to an abortion that is currrenty given to citizens will become legislated
Keep guns out of the hands of criminals> Institute legislation that prevents guns from being sold except by authorized dealers, with a 14 day wait period and a full FBI background check required. Ban assult weapons, including weapons not included in the "assult weapons ban" due to cosmetics. Institute legislation that makes anyone who sells a gun illegally responsible if that gun is used in a crime, charging them as an acomplice to murder or as a murderer, or at least with manslaughter.
Politicians need to stop looting social security funds, underming the seniors that make up this country > Require all money raised for social security to be used for social security, and likewise prevent any money not raised for social security from being used for social security. If possible, push this as a constitutional ammendment. (The thinking behind this is that first of all social security money should be used for social security, and also that social security will eventaully go bankrupt, and at that time, social security expenses can not be financed with money allocated for other things).
Cheaper health care for all > lower the cost of health care by setting limits on malpractice suits.
Prevent Illegal Immigration> Allow immigrants into the country to fill jobs that can not be filled with american workers, work with mexico to enforce border control, decrease spending on border control. Do not allow any immigrants with mexican criminal records to enter the country. Offer some additional green cards on an auction bases to the highest bidder, granted they must pass the requirments for immigrating into the country.
Disallow exportation of american jobs> Allow outsourcing as long as you can not find an american in america willing to do the work for the same price that you would be willing to pay in another country. Mandate that all US companies pay minimum wage to all employees, in the USA and abroad. Mandate that US companies pay US income tax for all foreign employees.
College education available for all> Take stance against affirmative action, though say it is up to the courts to decide if it is legal. Offer intrest free loans to all people wanting to attend a public college, with the money being paid directly to the college. Includes lodging and food through the college, though no extras such as books except for people qualfying for financial assistance. Collect the loans through the IRS, attached to tax bills.
Stop the reliance on middle eastern oil> Spend money to develop alt. fuel sources, institute tax credits for fuel efficiency in buildings and cars, institute taxes for gas guzzling cars. Give large incentive packages to energy companies to not import oil from the middle east, and a temporary incentive to car manufacturs to make fuel efficient cars (at least 30 mpg), with a law mandate taking place in 2015 mandating all vehicals get 30 mpg. Convert all military vehicles to hybrids or hydrogen fuel cells. All funding for "stoping the reliance on middle eastern oil" is to come from the official defense budget
Create an effective missle defense shield> Tell the contracter currently working on the missle defense shield that we are stopping funding, though they can continue to develop it for a large (multi-hundred billion dollar) payment upon completion, at which time it must work 100% successfully.
Create millions of jobs, and stop fiscal irresponsability> Mandate, with or without congressional apporval (through an executive order if nesc.), that deficits will not be allowed, also mandating that by the year 2020 the debt must be fully paid off, and the government must have 1 trillion surplus dollars in emergency funds. To be paid with taxes outlined under the "Tax cut for the middle class" blurb
Tax cut for the middle class> Repeal all of Bush's tax cuts, instead institutitng a 1% tax cut for everyone except the top tax bracket and those who pay no taxes. Institute a 5% sales tax, in addition to a wealth tax and a property tax, to cover the cost of destroying the debt. Sales tax and property tax are to be temporary, lasting until the government has met the debt requirment.
